Two fisted love is a play that came to us a couple years ago by a rather circuitous route and eventually found us. We are really glad it did. The writer, David Sessions, is the son of the environmental philosopher George Sessions. Dave has been writing plays for the last 20 or 30 years that no one would produce. We can see why. This play is big. Big ideas, huge characters and takes enormous chances. Out of the thousands of plays we see, everyone agreed that this was the play we had to do first.
Currently, the play is set to be produced at the Odyssey Theater in West Los Angeles with an opening date of February 3rd. Jules Aaron is set to direct this morality play that focuses on the trauma of a wealthy family dealing with the decline of a megastar and her battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
